One of the principles Fukuoka puts forward is that it is best not to water. Watering he says makes plants not dig their roots in far enough. I am ignoring the advice and going for a high tech watering system. I am a bit crap at remembering to water stuff, and It is always disappointing to kill plants.
So what I have done is rigged up a 1000 litre tank to a timer system, and rigged that up to a permeable hose.
